I'm sitting here at work, in dress up clothes, waiting for 4 o'clock to come. We are going to a Bris today....my first! One of my reps just had a baby boy 8 days ago and today's the day. I'm sure I will be coiled up in a corner of the room, cringing and not being able to look! It should be interesting if nothing else. And what do you say to the hosts...."Happy Bris!"? I've only seen them on TV dramas, so at least I know how to act. Hopefully it wont cause nightmares tonight, I've had a hard enough time sleeping. Seriously....I'm listening to Christmas music today, just to make me feel better.

A short post that I thought I'd share with you today. My friend Julie sent me this link and the idea was super duper. It's about turning old neighborhood phone booths into street libraries. Fill it with books, people take books, people add books! Here's the picture. Love this idea!
This one is in Highland Park, which is two small towns over from where I live. You can read more about the project HERE.
Wish me luck today....I once walked into a hospital, saw a patient missing an arm and passed out cold. God help me today.

This is why we Jews have lots of wine and food at a Bris - you'll be fine! xo reva

Reva....I thought it was rude to say that I was looking forward to the meal!

What Reva said, plus you say "Mazel Tov" to the parents. Have fun.

The phonebooth full of books made me think of bookmooch.com, a wonderful free bookswapping site I have used for years and heartily recommend to everyone.
